These albums are part of the seller's personal collection. They've been played minimally over the years and have been stored upright on shelves or in boxes and away from heat. They have been ultrasonically cleaned in the past week.
VINYL RECORDS GRADING Mint Vinyl: Perfect. Never been played. No scratches Cover: Perfect.
Near Mint (NM or M-) Vinyl: Near Perfect - No signs of wear Cover: Near Perfect . It may have been played but has no creases, folds, seam splits or other defects. No cut-out holes. Lyric sleeves, Posters etc in perfect condition also.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Vinyl: Record will show some signs that it was played. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Cover: Cover may be marred by a cut-out hole. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split.
Very Good (VG) Vinyl: This has obviously been played. A record with light scratches that will affect the sound. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Cover: Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Vinyl: Can be played through without skipping but will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. Cover: A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present.
Poor (P), Fair (F) Vinyl: The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. Cover: The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.
