FAIRFIELD PARLOUR
A solid very good condition copy of this 1970 UK very 1st press prog/psych//folk gem with impressive sound quality throughout
Year/Label : UK VERTIGO Swirl 1970
Label number : 6360 001
Matrix numbers : 6360001 1Y//1 / 6360001 2Y//1
Stampers : 1 1 2 / 1 1 2
Rare and sought after 1971 UK 1st press prog/psych/folk gem. Very good plus (VG+) - bordering on excellent - jet black sheen, earliest 1Y/1, 2Y/1 vinyl with no scratches or scuffs, just some mild and purely superficial 'shadow'/dulling lines on each side where the vinyl has reacted with the inner sleeve. These mild "dulling" lines are only visible when the vinyl is viewed at the correct angle in a good light. Excellent plus (EX+) condition labels - unmarked apart from just a few small & extremely faint spindle trails on each. Very good (VG) iconic, textured outer gatefold sleeve with some blemishes - only mild intermittent edge scuffing but more noticeable and obvious scuffing on the spine which has obscured most of the spine text, a mark (probably where a sticker once resided) at the front side top right hand corner which has been coloured in with a black felt tip, and on the reverse side a 4cm opening edge tear and some light but clearly visible scoring - I have tried to show these blemishes in my photos so do take a look. Truly excellent (EX) STEREO sound quality with no skips, repeats, jumps, clicks, distortion, or interference and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum...negligible in fact, and restricted to some barely noticeable background static during a couple of the intermissions and quieter moments only. Outstanding tone and crystal clear vocals and instrumentation with every track a great listen. Comes complete with original, correctly dated and excellent plus (EX+) condition original poly-lined Vertigo swirl inner sleeve with no side splits, tears or age discolouration and minimal creasing. Brilliant!
Rare, sought after and becoming difficult to find now - especially with UK 1st press vinyl and audio quality as impressive as this.
POSTAGE COSTS :
For the UK £5 using Royal Mail 1st class signed for;
for continental Europe £14 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked/signed for,
and for the rest of the world £20 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked/signed for.
I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.
Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 54 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
