CONNIE FRANCIS Rare 12" Acetate.
One-sided demo with 6 tracks. Believed to be from the Connie & Clyde LP.
I purchased this item about 25 years ago as a collectable, and never played it. I have a note indicating it is Connie & Clyde. I no longer have a turntable so I am unable to test this.
On the acetate itself is written "Connie Francis Mono A." However, there is no label on the disc indicating what songs are included, if they are just vocal tracks, or if they differ in any way from the record that was released in 1968. Comparing the width of the tracks on the acetate with those on the side 1 of the vinyl version of the album suggests they might be the same.
I realize that purchasing this item has a certain risk since I am unable to verify exactly what it is. On the other hand you may discover unreleased material from Connie that could be extremely rare. How much is it worth to you to find out?
