BILL EVANS TRIO - Waltz for Debby

1962 1st press copy of this highly collectable jazz rarity with obvious blemishes on the outer sleeve, and the overall impressive stereo sound quality being the highlight

Year/Label : 1962 RIVERSIDE (manufactured in Holland)
Label number : STEREO RLP 9399
Matrix numbers : 6C  AA  129399  A 1 670 124  /  6C  12 9399  B 1 670 122
Nice looking and solid very good (VG) condition jet black sheen vinyl with some extremely faint paper scuff marks and the odd small and very light wispy hairline on each side - nothing feelable or obviously below the surface. Clean, crisp early variant Riverside labels with some very faint spindle trails on each and the initials "N.C." neatly etched onto the side 1 label. Front side laminated good plus (G+) condition outer sleeve with intermittent but obvious edge scuffing, a 10cm split on the top edge, some mild staining and age discolouration on the reverse side, and a few other handling/storage/shelf wear marks - see photos! Very good (VG) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, interference or distortion and just some occasional, very light and strictly background crackle - barely intrusive at all. An impressive listen with Bill Evans, Scott LeFaro and Paul Motian in top form. Comes with brand new poly-lined plain white inner sleeve.
 Not in perfect condition by a long shot but still sought after and highly collectable, and a fine listen.   POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;

for continental Europe £13 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £19 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 53 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy.
