The ROLLING STONES - AFTERMATH

A solid very good condition copy of this 1966 UK 1st press Rolling Stones masterpiece with impressive MONO sound quality

Year/Label : 1966 UK Decca
Label number : MONO LK 4786
Matrix numbers : XARL-7209-5B  /  XARL-7210-1A  with the KT tax code stamped on each side
Stampers :  1 B  /  1 B
1966 UK 1st press Rolling Stones classic : glossy very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl with just a few very light scuff marks and wispy hairlines on each side but nothing feelable or obviously below the surface as borne out by the impressive MONO sound quality.  The single exception to this is a small 9mm very light non-feelable scratch on side 1 which does result in some light rotational clicking on the second half of A3 and the beginning of A4.  Virtually unmarked early press deep groove labels with just a few very faint spindle trails on each side.  lst press very good (VG) condition front-side laminated Robert Stace sleeve with unscuffed edges and minor blemishes only including some laminate lifting, some light laminate creases, and some mild age discolouration on the reverse side (see photos). There is also an 8mm horizontal light tear on the reverse side adjacent and perpendicular to the opening edge.  The MONO audio quality is very good plus (VG+) - at least - with no skips, sticks, repeats, or jumps and just some mild rotational clicking on A3/A4, and any background crackle is occasional, absolutely minimal and barely intrusive at all - a great listen. Comes with original poly-lined "USE EMITEX" inner sleeve with no seam splits but there is some light creasing towards the corners, some minor age discolouration, and a couple of tear "nicks" on the reverse side.  Hard to believe that this record is now 57 years of age with these UK MONO 1st pressings now more collectable than ever.
 Overall nice condition with minor blemishes only, and a great listen.   POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;

for continental Europe £13 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £19 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
