The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Complete 1st Press with Rare Wide Spine Sleeve.

The item is complete and grades as Very Good Sleeve and the vinyl is a strong Very Good towards Very Good Plus.

There are some light marks and hairlines on the vinyl but overall it is neat and presentable on both sides, still retaining a bright pressing sheen and doesn't have any obvious marks, scratches, scuffs, warps, or needle drops or anything that detracts too much from the appearance or adversely affects the audio.

The playability/ sound quality is Very Good Plus, there are no deviations or distortions other than some feint background noise in some of the intro's/ outro's. No clicks, skips, sticks, jumps etc. Plays clearly and lucidity and is overall a pleasant example.

Early Stampers 1 P/ 4 AL on heavy-set vinyl with -1/ -1 matrix making it a true 1st press which hasn't been tampered with.

Sleeve is the very fist issue type with the wide spine (exterior width 5mm with a machine punched-in interior centre partition). Fully laminated but outer spine edge is rubbed and slightly split but not badly. The sleeve still opens with a new 'crack' like sound. Minor edge wear and thumbnail creases to the exterior but overall is tidy and clean, and inner partition and layout is very neat.

The psychedelic inner sleeve is in Good condition, it has a split along the bottom centre seam and a smaller split along one side seam.

The cut-out's inner is Excellent with no faults.

The labels are generally tidy, there are only a few spindle line traces on each side and the spindle aperature's are are neat with barely any visible wear. There is a pen mark on the Parlophone pound sign on one side.

Overall, a decent looking, very playable example that won't disappoint.
