From a Discogs member comment:
Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad is on this singing back up vocals. He insisted on not being credited. I work with one of the musicians on this record (listed as Mike, real name Jeff) He's told me about this record for years, never shown me so I looked it up and found it here.
Mystery possible college project LP with different vocalists and instrumental combos. All apparent originals except the opener, a very primitive “That’ll Be the Day” ith good thumping bass line, and “Loch Lomond” sung with a bad faux-Scottish burr but with a good rocking mandolin/trumpet/heavy bass/ drums backing.
Among the originals, Side 1 stand-outs are “Strawberry Days”, a hippie goddess folk rocker with angelic dual female vocals and a heavy electric guitar rhythm; “Right On”, a psychy folk rocker which has the sound of a teenage Bob Edmund, complete with garagy organ/drum backing; and “Go With the Game”, a rocker with a slightly funky rhythm guitar and bass line, a secondary trumpet melody and a Lee Oskar War-like harmonica solo.
Side 2 highlights include “Smile At the Sun”, with a mellow Annie Haslam style vocal and jazz-tinged electric keyboard backing (a bit reminiscent of early Steely Dan - think “Do It Again”); “KS Rebellion” a male vox folk song with odd lyrics (“Go fight your battle, Go herd your cattle”); and “the closing “Vida Blues”, a thumping bass blues jam with cool dixieland style trumpet leads and a wailing harmonica solo or two."
