Johnny Paycheck (Donald Eugene Lytle, 1938-2003) made a name for himself in country music’s “outlaw movement” in the 1970s. In 1960 he achieved success as “Donny Young” singing “Miracle Of Love”. George Jones hired him in the 1960s to play bass and steel guitar, and tenor harmony. A member of The Grand Ole Opry, he had his greatest success with “Take This Job And Shove It”. George Jones donated the burial plot he is buried in. This album is still wrapped in vinyl, although there is a small tear on the bottom, and the sleeve end is open for record access.
