I have here the Gold Parlophone Mono first press

The vinyl is in vg condition. It has some noticeable marks but nothing deep and serious. As you know the old EMI albums are extremely forgivable and they sound awesome.

The marks are superficial albeit but look ugly. Lots of hairline and soft scuffs but as said playback is great.

The labels are readable and are the first press Dick James. Usual spindle wear and not as faded as some that I’ve seen

Matrix numbers are

XEX 421 1N 1R

XEX 422 1N 1A

Really early press possibly one of the first 1000 pressed

Sleeve is worn and torn. But front looks great, the fold overs are wrecked. Angus McBean in the correct place (see photos)

All in all a great album that wont let you down
