I decided to sell some off my personal collection. At the time of each listing, I am giving a listen to both sides (testing) and add a bit of the listening details you just can’t see in pictures. Nothing worse than putting out money and hearing a nasty skip when you get a chance to give it a spin. This is what my main focus is going to be. I’m also happy to provide more pics upon request and answer any questions. I’m not a pro, I do most research on Discogs and sometimes I still don’t understand what exact pressing or from what plant my copy is from.

This is my most prized OG Dark Side. I base my decision on overall as found. Checks more boxes for me overall. For instance, both posters are exceptionally nice, no holes, no tape, however they do have blemishes, some look production and the creases in some places are strong. Nice,but not perfect. The album cover’s condition can rival a repress. Almost zero ring wear as well as limited cover wear. The front cover crease is as bad as it gets. Nice not perfect. The original white inner sleeve has wrinkles and a 1.5” edge break along bottom. The original stickers are unused but there is a ding/crunch top left corner . The vinyl is in line with the condition of all its counter parts. It exhibits massive amounts of spindle wear around the holes both sides. A moderate amount of blemishes, scratches and marks. No writing on anything I’m speaking about here I think you should know.

Listening to this copy can be hard if you let yourself focus on surface noises, especially in playing parts with no music. It’s hard to argue that this does in fact possess surface noises like static throughout. However if you walk into the room as it’s playing a song , you have to try a bit to hear the surface noises. Like walking into a cold room from a colder room, kinda makes the first cold room feel warm. There is no skipping, very limited crackle and the moments of owning it in it’s all around condition is why it’s my best copy. Everything is upgradable and interchangeable if you want to upgrade , but as found it’s simply complete to me and works when I play it. Not owning it will be hard to accept.
