This listing is for the 7-inch EP "Profiles In Pain" by Rancid Vat, released in 1984 on Pigface Records (# 009).
This EP is the third? release from this Portland, OR band. I bought this new, oh so long ago. It has been played only on high quality turntables/cartridges and just a handful of times. Mostly it's been stored upright with other 7-inch records.
Matrix/runout side A: RANCID VAT-A, R-8863
Matrix/runout side B: RANCID VAT-B, R-8864
Cover: vg+ - In mostly-great shape, just yellowing from age, with small wrinkles at top.
Vinyl: vg+ - Sounds like new! A few brown spots on label, some radial scraping marks (I think from manufacturing). There's an impurity or bubble above the word VAT near the outer edge (see photos) that causes a pop.
Insert: vg+ - Mostly in perfect shape, just yellowing from age and small wrinkles at top.
Inner sleeve: vg+ - A mysterious crease runs horizontally, probably came that way but I don't remember. Minor wrinkles but otherwise in great shape - no tears.
Record will be shipped with a brand new poly bag, in a cardboard mailer designed for 7-inch records with a cardboard insert for extra stiffness and padding. Thanks for looking!
