This listing is for the self-titled debut EP from NYC hardcore band Cause For Alarm. This is an original pressing (no label) from 1983.
I am the original owner and have played this very few times and only on good quality turntables/cartridges. Mostly it's been stored upright with other 7-inch records.
Matrix/runout side A: CFA-001-A
Matrix/runout side B: CFA-001-B
Cover: vg+ - Six-panel glossy paper has held up remarkably well. The panels with lyrics and thanks do show some brown spotting (see photos).
Vinyl: vg+ - Great sounding vinyl! A-side label is almost pristine. B-side label shows some brown spots and is a bit off-center. A-side runout area has some very light scuffs (see close-up photo) that don't affect the music. Both sides near outer edge shows some markings that seem to be from manufacturing (see close-up photos) but you can't hear any issues from that.
Inner sleeve: vg - Original inner sleeve has yellowed as expected with age and shows brown spotting, but there are no tears or worn edges and the glue has held up perfectly.
Record will be shipped with a brand new poly bag, in a cardboard mailer designed for 7-inch records with a cardboard insert for extra stiffness and padding.
If you have questions, ask. And thanks for looking!
