THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - ELECTRIC LADYLAND

A rare very 1st UK press copy of this Hendrix rock classic with a number of blemishes but remaining presentable and  playable

Year/Label : 1968 UK TRACK Label number : 613008 (disc 1) & 613009 (disc 2) Matrix numbers : 613008A//1, 613008 B//1, 613009 A//1, 613009 B//1  (each with 1st press cross outs replaced by hand etched) Stampers :  1 2  / 1 2  /  1 2  2  /  1 2  5
Very good (VG) condition vinyls - to be clear, "very good" at best and mostly "very good minus" with a good number of hairlines and scuff marks/lines on each side of each vinyl. There is nothing obviously feelable, however, but it is clear each vinyl has received it's fair share of plays. No warping, with each vinyl remaining flat and weighty.  Excellent condition labels with a good number of mild spindle trails on each and all silver text upon the matt black background remaining nicely intact. Note the additional inverted catalogue number in parenthesis on each label - a very 1st press identifier.  Fully laminated very good (VG) condition original Ernest J. Day outer gatefold  sleeve. All colours, photos, text and art work remain intact with no tears or rips, and no unwanted writing. The top and bottom edges are in very good order, remaining firm with some intermittent very mid and small scuff marks. The spine is also firm with 3cm of scuffing at the centre of the spine and each corner remains a nicely defined right angle with just a little mild rubbing on each. The blemishes are : a number of 1-2 cm surface laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the edges on each side, two very small scuff marks towards the front-side bottom right corner underneath the words "ELECTRIC" and "LADYLAND" respectively, more obvious laminate creasing beside and underneath the inside blue text, and the inner spread was glued (at manufacturing) in a misaligned fashion to the outer cover's inside tabs as a separate component resulting in obvious fraying to the inside opening edge (the opening edge below the blue text). Take a good look at my photos where I have tried to clearly show all blemishes. Very good (VG) - again, at best - stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, or distortion but there are is the occasional click and background crackle does exist throughout each side of each vinyl, albeit mostly low level and not too intrusive. Is it excellent audio quality? No! Is this record still a good listen? Yes!  Comes with poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" outer sleeves with no seam splits, very little creasing, and just some brown age discolouration towards the edges. I will ship the records in new plain white poly-lined inner sleeves in order to protect the originals.    Very rare and highly sought after but please read carefully the above description since this is a "very good" condition UK 1st press copy at best : still presentable and playable but with a number of blemishes.
POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;

for continental Europe £12 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits.
