THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - AXIS : BOLD AS LOVE

A rare very 1st UK MONO pressing of this Hendrix classic, complete with very hard to find original lyric insert

Very good (VG) condition vinyl with a number of hairlines and scuff marks/lines on each side of each vinyl. There is nothing obviously feelable but it is clear that this record has received it's fair share of plays. No warping and the record remains flat and weighty.  Excellent condition labels with a few small and very mild spindle trails on each and all silver text upon the matt black background remaining nicely intact.  Front and reverse side laminated and very good plus (VG+) condition original Ernest J. Day outer gatefold  sleeve. All colours, photos, text and art work remain impressively intact with no tears or rips, and no unwanted writing. The top and bottom edges are in very good order, remaining firm and unscuffed apart from 7cm of continuous scuffing on the top reverse side edge adjacent to the top right corner (See photo). The spine is also firm and devoid of scuffing with just a couple of tiny "nicks" at each end, and each corner remains a nicely defined right angle with just a little mild rubbing on each. The condition of the inside of the gatefold borders on excellent with all of the flipbacks remaining in great shape and no obvious blemishes. Very good plus (VG+) MONO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, or distortion but there is the occasional mild random click, with three more obvious clicks on the track "If 6 Was 9", and some occasional but very low level and background crackle which is slightly more noticeable during some of the intermissions. Remaining very listenable throughout, however, with none of the aforementioned blemishes significantly impacting upon the enjoyment of this brilliant LP. Just bear in mind that if you are looking for audio perfection then this record is probably not for you. Comes with poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" outer sleeve with no seam splits, a little creasing, and remaining fully functional. I will ship the records in new plain white poly-lined inner sleeves in order to protect the originals.    Very rare and highly sought after and a "must" for any serious rock vinyl collection.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
