HUNGRY WOLF

Exceptionally rare UK 1st press prog/psych gem, with little played near mint vinyl

Year/Label : 1970 UK PHILIPS Label number : 6308 008 Matrix numbers : 6308009 1Y//1 420, 6308009 2Y//1 420 Stampers :  11 1  /  1 2 1
Near mint (NM) condition vinyl -  completely flat and weighty retaining it's original beautiful jet black sheen, and unmarked - eve with close inspection under a bright light I could not detect any blemishes at all, not even a faint wispy hairline or extremely light paper scuff : incredible for a 54 year old record such as this. Near mint (NM) condition labels - again, pristine with not even a trace of the usual one or two faint spindle trails. Clearly this is a record that has received only a handful of plays, at most. Fully laminated very good plus (VG+) condition original outer sleeve with all edges remaining firm and devoid of any scuffing  (there is a single tiny "nick" on the bottom edge). Similarly the spine remains rigid with all spine text perfectly intact. Each corner remains a perfectly defined right angle with no rubbing and the opening edges are firm with no sign of edge fraying. The vibrant colours, art work, photos and all text remain nicely intact with the exception of two scuff marks on the front side and a further scuff mark on the reverse side towards the top right corner (see photos). Each of these blemishes have been caused by careless removal of stickers. Shame out the minor, but clearly noticeable scuff marks, but still an impressive and eminently presentable copy of this 1970 gem.  Stunning near mint (NM) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, distortion, interference or background crackle. Crystal clear sound quality throughout : rock, prog, psych, jazz - a brilliantly eclectic mix with every track a great listen. Comes with original poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" inner sleeve with no seam splits or age discolouration, minimal creasing, correctly dated and remaining in excellent plus condition. I will ship the record in new plain white poly-lined inner sleeves in order to protect the originals.    Almost impossible to find, especially with near mint condition vinyl such as this, and a record worthy of gracing any vinyl collection.
POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;

for continental Europe £11 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £18 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
