Smokey recorded this twice at different times and for different labels - these RIH versions also appeared initially on Top Hat. In both cases he sounds well on top of the material and accompanies himself on guitar without too much of his 'normal' timing waywardness and no band to complicate matters! Nice performances -among his best. Los Angeles, 1950/51
