PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFOE CONSIDERING PURCHASE - THIS RARE RECORD HAS A SIGNIFICANT CONDITION ISSUE.
Here is a great release on the Savoy label (MG 12091). This is the original deep groove pressing of Introducing Lee Morgan with Hank Mobley's Quintet. RVG stamp in dead wax.
Condition - The jacket shows light to moderate wear with some damage on spine and some pen marks on back. The jacket grades at VG+. The record is shiny with light hints of use, but there seems to be a factory flaw on side two, which has been pressed a little off center. The sound on side two is distorted a bit like a warp due to the off center pressing. Side one looks and sounds great. Side one grades at NM-, but side two grades at Fair due to distortion of sound.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records, discs or tapes. The highest grade I give to unsealed records, discs or tapes is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
