THE DAMNED - STRAWBERRIES WITH LYRIC INSERT SHEET

BRONZE LABEL 1982 COMPLETE FIRST UK PRESSING WITH SINGLE SLEEVE & LYRIC INSERT IN EXCELLENT PLAYING CONDITION.

Released in 1982 on the BRONZE label, I am offering today this original and complete first UK pressing of this classic album from UK punk legends THE DAMNED which is titled STRAWBERRIES. The album contains some great tracks including GENERALS and IGNITE and is a very first pressing with Townhouse stamped on the run outs. 

The album comes complete with its original single sleeve which is in VG condition, it shows some edge wear but has no splits stickers or unwanted writing etc and comes complete with hard to find Strawberry smelling lyric inner sheet which only has a light strawberry smell after 22 years.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips or nasty pops etc.

 

 

The VINYL, The vinyl visually and audibly is excellent. it plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc. 

The SLEEVE, The single sleeve is a reasonably clean VG example with no splits or stickers etc but shows some edge wear.  

The LABELS, The custom BRONZE labels are very clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The blue text first issue warning white inner dated 4/82 is reasonably clean and free from unwanted writing etc but is lightly creased.

The INSERT, The hard to find Strawberry smelling lyric insert has lost most of its strawberry essence but is clean and presentable.  

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
