When Tony Sheridan and The Beat Brothers (A.K.A. The Beatles) waxed My Bonnie in 1961, it was initially intended for release in Germany only, so Tony recorded the spoken intro in German.  This is how the original, very rare single was issued.  Subsequent 1962 releases in the UK and the US (where the single sank without a trace) replaced the German intro with English.  The scarce reissue we offer today restores the original Deutsche!

 This 45 is from the In The Beginning box set; only 2000 sets were created (in the UK only: not issued in The States); each has original 1961-1962 recordings by The Beatles on beautiful colored vinyl.  This is undoubtedly one of the rarest commercial Beatles 45s ever pressed; here's one uber-rare disc for your collection at a bargain price!
