N- No visible signs of use. I very rarely use this grade, if ever.
E+ A near perfect copy with no groove wear.
E A very shiny record with very few signs of use with little groove wear.
E- Shows a few signs of handling, but still has a nice luster and plays well.
V+ A pretty average records with some signs of wear and use, but not too bad- An enjoyable listen.
V Moderate wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V- Still playable, but some greying in loud passages.
G+ From this grade through the remaining grades, the record will have considerable wear. Scratches and Scuffs will be prominent, but music is still audible.
G Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
F: Most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening is now uncomfortable.
P: Pretty much an unplayable record. I only sell records at this grade that are nearly impossible to find.
