DESCRIPTION: David Bowie LP- Aladdin Sane. 1st Uk pressing with glossy orange RCA labels, gatefold sleeve, scarce fan club insert and thick card lyric inner . Matrix ending 3T/3T. Thhis came to me in a poly sleeve inside the inner so this is how ill send it to you. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA- RS1001 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/EX. Vinyl is nice and clean with a decent sheen. It has a few very thin hairlines that prevent me grading any higher, despite the Excellent sound. Played passages of this today on my Project Deck. Sits flat on the turntable. It sounds pretty near to Excellent if not Excellent. Its clear ,clean and loud. This is a great LP, one of my top fifty favourites of all time. Cover is in great shape, one of the best I have had. Its clean and white. Very firm and square and has only light edgewear, light cornerwear and light creasing. Its been kept in a PVC double sleeve which I will send this in to the winning bidder- unless you tell me you do not want it. It weighs over 500gm without the sleeve so does not affect postage cost. Inner is also a very nice EX with light wear only and no splits. Rare fan club insert is in near EX unused condition, It has a few spots of foxing which is all that prevents an EX grade, otherwise clean and white no writing etc, complete and unused. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. . Very nice sounding early UK pressing of this classic Bowie LP. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER DAVID BOWIE and CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
