HARVEST UNBOXED LABEL FIRST UK PRESSING WITH E J DAY OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in June 1970 on the HARVEST label, I am offering today this excellent all round first UK pressing of this classic third album by DEEP PURPLE titled "CONCERTO FOR GROUP & ORCHESTRA". and this is a very first UK pressing with NO EMI box and Gramophone rim text. later pressing state EMI. The matrix numbers are A1 B1 and it comes complete with its original E J Day outer laminated gatefold sleeve.  which is in superb condition. it has no splits or tears or unwanted writing etc.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there is a little surface noise to be heard on occasion during the more quiet moments.

 

   

 

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks clean but has a few light scuffs on side one, Audibly I have just played it plays through and on my turntable I would have to say that this is very good as as although it has no nasty sticks or skips etc there was a touch of background noise I noticed on occasion during the quiet moments but overall this is a nice playing example. 

The SLEEVE, The E J Day outer laminated gatefold sleeve is in very clean excellent condition. There are no splits or stickers etc.  

The LABELS, The Harvest first issue unboxed labels are very clean, showing moderate spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The generic inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
