IN THIS AUCTION: 

 

·       “SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records MAS - 2653.

·       This is a MONAURAL (MONO) PRESSING.

·       The COVER is VERY STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. The front cover image is NICE with some light wear in the sky area at the top. The rear cover also shows light wear, (Check Images.) There are 2 TINT corner pushes at top and bottom right corners.  

·       The VINYL is NICE VG+. There are some very light surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       This is a FIRST PRESSING MONO COPY OF THIS LP because the labels don’t “subsidiary” in the label’s perimeter printing, and it has the shortened song title “A Little Help From My Friends” on the side 1 label.

·       This LP was issued June 1, 1967.

·       The vinyl comes in its properly marked MONO cover (MAS – 2653)

·       The vinyl has a triangle containing the letters IAM in the trail-off vinyl which indicates that this record came from Capitol’s Scranton pressing plant.

·       It comes with its original custom red, pink and white inner sleeve that has NO SPLITS.

·       It also comes with the poster-board sheet of Sgt. Pepper cut-outs which is NEAR MINT MINUS. 

·       The MONO version of this LP has become VERY DESIREABLE and HARD-TO-FIND. I’ve always heard that John Lennon remarked that you haven’t really heard Sgt. Pepper as it was intended to sound if you haven’t heard it in the original Mono.  

·       It’s REALLY A GREAT MONO BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection.
