2 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED 45s showcasing the awesome powers of rock's legendary guitarist. Valleys Of Neptune, the title track from the 2010 LP, is an alternate take with a hybrid band; Mitch Mitchell of The Experience drums & Billy Cox from Band Of Gypsys is bassman. Jimi produced the sessions at New York's Record Plant in 1969-1970. The flip is a non-LP track recorded during the heyday of The Experience in 1967. Chas Chandler, Jimi's manager (and former Animals bassist) produced the session at Olympic Studios in London. Bleeding Heart is also taken from the Valleys LP; it's Jimi's take on a classic Elmore James blues.
