Up for auction is a copy of Black Monk Time by The Monks, released in 1966 on Polydor; this is a German reissue from 1977, cat no 2417 129. The first reissue of one of the most deathlessly astonishing albums ever recorded, it must have made a good deal more sense in 1977 than it did in 1966. If you can’t afford an original (and let’s face it, who can?), this is the next best thing.

Condition: vinyl looks unplayed. Cover has a very minor dent in the bottom right hand corner, but is otherwise perfect. M-/EX (vinyl/cover).

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
