PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT MINT OR EXCELLENT BUT IS A VERY GOOD PLAYING COPY OF THIS 1970 PROG CLASSIC.

Released in 1970 on the large VERTIGO SWIRL / SPIRAL label, I am offering today this original first UK pressing of this classic debut album from URIAH HEEP which is titled " VERY EAVY VERY UMBLE". The vinyl looks very clean apart from a few light scuffs.

The album was produced by Gerry Bron who later went on to found Bronze records, and comes complete with its original outer laminated gatefold sleeve which is in very good condition. The front and back as can be seen in my pictures are clean but show some light wear and the spine is fully legible.

I have just played this album through for these listing purposes and the album plays with very good audio with absolutely no sticks or skips but there is light crackle and if played with a heavy needle a solitary skip on the last track WAKE UP but if played with a needle set at 1.0 or less it plays through it OK.

If you are a fussy collector or someone who cannot adjust the weight on your arm, Please look elsewhere as this will not transform into anything other than the good to very good album that it is.

NOT MINT OR EXCELLENT BUT CERTAINLY A NICE FILLER TILL A TOP ONE COMES ALONG

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually shows lots of light scratches and scuffs but providing it is played with a light needle set at 1.0 on my system, it plays through with nice sound but there is light crackle to be heard. 

The SLEEVE, The outer laminated gatefold sleeve is clean and free from splits stickers or unwanted writing etc and the spine is fully legible.  

The LABELS, The original first issue large Vertigo Swirl / Spiral labels are clean, They are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The original swirl inner which is dated 1970 is present and free from unwanted writing etc but is very worn and has been repaired.

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
