FERRE GRIGNARD - CAPTAIN DISASTER

MAJOR MINOR LABEL 1970 ORIGINAL AND VERY RARE FIRST UK PRESSING WITH WEST BROTHERS FRONT LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.

Released in 1970 on the MAJOR MINOR label, I am offering today this original and very hard to find first and only UK pressing of this acid folk album by the late Belgian singer songwriter FERRE GRIGNARD which is titled "CAPTAIN DISASTER". The vinyl plays through well with very good audio absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there was a touch of crackle here and there but overall a very enjoyable listen and very hard to find as a UK pressing.

The album comes with original West Brothers front laminated single sleeve which shows some wear but is in very good condition. The album also comes with its original generic inner sleeve which is in clean condition.

 

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks excellent but audibly I would say its very good, it plays through with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc, but there was crackle to be heard occasionally. 

The SLEEVE, The Front laminated single sleeve is in reasonably clean condition. there is some light wear otherwise there are no stickers splits or unwanted writing etc. 

The LABELS, The original Major Minor labels are very clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The original generic inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing, stickers or splits etc.

If in doubt, I tend to err on the side of caution - believing it better to have a customer who is pleasantly surprised than a customer who is mildly disappointed. As a collector myself, I know how annoying and frustrating it is to discover a seller was over generous in their description of an item.
