·       “SOMETHING NEW” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records ST - 2108.

·       This is a STEREO PRESSING.

·       This LP was issued was issued 1969 to 1971. 

·       According to Perry Cox, this LP was pressed at Capitol Records’ Winchester plant based on the number “12” on the rear cover at lower right and based on the triangle with line attached to it symbol etched in the trail-off wax. Therefore, this #12 Winchester cover and Winchester vinyl are correctly matched.

·       NOTE: Some sellers will switch vinyl and covers either intentionally or accidentally in order to create a near mint but mismatched item to sell. This is the correct cover and vinyl for this pressing/issue.

·       The COVER is graded STRONG VG+. It is in the ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink wrap has “breathe holes” and there is a pink store sticker on the shrink. Although the cover is still in shrink wrap, the top corners and bottom right corner have some light wear, there is some light wear along the opening and there is some light aging discoloration of the right side of the white rear cover. These are the reasons that the cover, thought still in the shrink wrap, is not graded Near Mint.

·       This primarily black cover was prone to show wear quite easily and is often found showing wear. However, this one has been well-protected over the past 45 years by the original shrink wrap.

·       The VINYL is GRADED NICE VG+ with just some very light surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       A nice CAPITOL GREEN LABEL BEATLES LP to add to your vinyl collection!
