In October 2013, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Essa-Pekka Salonen, recorded the music of Frank Zappa which he had originally scored for his cult-classic movie “200 Motels.” This limited-edition, purple-colored-vinyl 7” single contains the opening piece from the concert, “Overture” (from 200 Motels) and another Zappa gem on the B-side, a previously unreleased recording of “What’s the Name of Your Group?” from the original score performed in 1971 by Zappa with the Royal Philharmonic.

Grading Scale:
Mint… Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.
Mint -… Very clean, with only a few light marks. A great record.
EX/VG++... Condition between 7 and 9.
VG+… Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
VG… Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
VG-… A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
G… Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches.
