This is my own copy, kept for years and never bettered. Im selling it simply because i want to buy a collection this week by thursday 23/4 and need funds. Sleeve has been kept in a heavy PVC cover and vinyl in a seperate white inner. Ive had plenty of copies of this over the years but this is the best, the one i held onto. DESCRIPTION: Classic 1st Joy Division LP- Unknown Pleasures. 1ST UK press with vinyl that glows translucent red when held up to bright light, delicate textured sleeve, Porky Prime cut matrix and inner sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: FACTORY FACT10 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1979 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a great sheen, tilted to the light it has one ery fine hairline and a couple of brushing lines on side 2. Ive never cleaned this as its always sounded great. If you want me too ill run it through the record cleaner before sending. Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Music is Clear, clean and loud. Amazing music. I saw these live in 1979 supporting the buzzcocks i think. Delicate textured cover is firm and square with mostly less than light edgewear (light + to part of bottom edge) , mnimal cornerwear and minimal creasing. Inner is in great shape with minimal wear and no foxing! Clean and white. Very clean labels- see photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
