Up for auction is a copy of In The Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson, released in 1969 on Island, cat no ILPS 9111. This is an original pink label first pressing with two-part EJ Day gatefold cover.

Condition: vinyl has been well-played judging by the number of spindle trails, but it has been well cared for. The surface of each side is problem free, and generally it still sounds great, though you might hear an occasional click/pop in the album’s quieter passages. The cover has some wear, particularly on the lower edge, and the spine is rather more worn, with some flaking and some of the surface missing. Overall VG+/VG (vinyl/cover)

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale.
