DESCRIPTION: Guns and Roses- Appetite For Destruction. Original pressing displaying Uk catalogue number 1st on spine, bought in UK on release with "Cross" cover, inner lyric sleeve and 1A/1B matrix. Where i live in North East england I see a lot less copies with this cover than the Robot one. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Geffen WX 125 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1987 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Pressed in Germany for UK release. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX (Please read on, my grading is very strict). Vinyl is super clean with a great sheen. A few light hairlines viewed in sunlight make me cautiously grade VG+ when the vinyl is a million times better than VG. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds excellent. Clear and loud!!. Its a great LP as you will know. It has to be heard on vinyl. Cover is firm and square and just scrapes into an EX. it has light edgewear, light cornerwear and creasing. Inner has light wear and no splits. The previous owner has kindly added his signature to one side of the label and one side of the inner and also helpfully added the track times. It is free from the usual sticky marks and fingerprints that it seems to attract. Labels are otherwise clean with minimal spindle wear. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
