DESCRIPTION: The Beatles- Please Please Me. 5th pressing with matrix ending -1N/1N, poly lined Emitex inner and with parlophone co, rcrding 1st published and no sold in UK label text. A for angus on cover starts under second S in songs LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Parlophone PMC1202 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1963 COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/ F+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some surface marks. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Music is clear, clean and loud with just an occasional tick and a trace of background sound between tracks. It skips for a split second on track 1 sde 1. It may skip more than that but ive played nearly all of LP. Grading reflects this. Cover is firm and square and has moderate edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Unsightly cellotape repairs to rear/flpback hence low grade.Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
