OTHER DETAILS - on offer is a lot of TWO 1982 GERMAN VINYL LPs each featuring music from an episode in the 'Jack Holborn' mini-series. The first LP features music from "Jack Holborn - Among The Pirates" and the second features music from "Jack Holborn - Adventures in Africa".

These original recordings are from the eponymous 1982 German TV mini-series, with music by Christian Bruhn. Based on the book by Leon Garfield, it was shown in the United Kingdom by ITV.

COVERS -

"JACK HOLBORN UNTER DER PIRATEN" - generally EX condition

has a few tiny 'spots' of shelfwear/rubbing to blue colour on top seam. a TINY 'ding' in bottom right corner. small, faint ripple below the 'OR' of the word Holborn (top right). about 4 very small lines/crinkles by top seam. nothing major at all overall. "JACK HOLBORN ABENTEUER IN AFRIKA" - generally EX condition has a VERY small 'ding' in top right and bottom right corners. very small (1.5cm), minor and hard to spot seam split to middle of top seam. nothing major at all overall. VINYL -

"JACK HOLBORN UNTER DER PIRATEN" - EX condition

there are one or two very light 'hairline' surface marks on each side only. the original Ariola inner sleeve is quick 'rough' (thick paper) and would likely would the odd very light surface line through storage, so have moved the LP to a regular paper inner sleeve. nothing major at all overall. "JACK HOLBORN ABENTEUER IN AFRIKA" - VG+ condition on close inspection, there are some very light 'hairline' surface marks on each side, as per the LP above. All are light/non-feelable, but as there are a few more than on the above LP, will say VG+. the original Ariola inner sleeve is quick 'rough' (thick paper) and would likely cause the odd very light surface line through storage, so have moved the LP to a regular paper inner sleeve. nothing major at all overall.

Please note that all vinyl is visually graded under a bright halogen bulb - it is only play-graded if specifically stated above. If there is a noticeable surface mark or light scratch, it may say 'not affecting play' above, in which case the record has obviously been played.

GRADING

NEW: Just that. Note that an item will only be factory sealed/shrinkwrapped if it says so in the description.

NEAR MINT: The record itself is in 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are also in 'as new' condition. (please note that I will NEVER use the MINT grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade I will use will be NM (Near Mint) as even a new record/CD can have a tiny fault if you look hard enough! If an item is NEW I will say so.)

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc.
