NINA SIMONE - AT NEWPORT

COLPIX LABEL 1962 FIRST US PRESSING WITH HARD CARD SINGLE SLEEVE, IN VERY GOOD + PLAYING CONDITION.

Released in 1962 on the gold COLPIX label, I am offering today this original first US pressing of this classic live album by the late NINA SIMONE titled "AT NEWPORT ".

The album features some fantastic tracks including PORGY and LITTLE LIZA JANE which later got covered by Davie Jones & the King Bees. The vinyl is in overall excellent condition and comes complete with its original hard card single sleeve which is in very good condition, No unwanted writing but there is some wear to the corners of the spine otherwise no splits stickers or unwanted writing etc.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I have to say that it plays nicely with very enjoyable audio, absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there was a little surface noise at times.

   

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually and audibly is in very good + condition. Needless to say absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc. 

The SLEEVE, The hard card single sleeve is in very good condition. No unwanted writing, stickers or splits etc but the spine shows wear to the corners.  

The LABELS, The gold Colpix labels are very clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.

The INNER, The original generic white inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc but it has somewhat yellowed.

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
