1920s Edison Diamond Disc #51590 with paper label, 1/4"-thick 10" record.  Two fox trots recorded by the California Ramblers under their pseudonym name “Golden Gate Orquestra”, recorded July 15, 1925 in New York, NY.  Clean condition disc. 

51590-R (Right Side): “Oh Say! Can I See You Tonight”, Fox Trot w/Vocal Chorus (Henry Creamer, Joe Schuster & Leon Flatlow), Golden Gate Orquestra, Vocal Chorus by Arthur Hall.  

51590-L (Left Side): “Manhattan”, Fox Trot from “Garrick Gaities” (Lorenz Hart & Richard Rodgers), Golden Gate Orquestra.

CONDITION: I have no way to play this disc, so sound quality is unknown, and description is for visual condition only.  View photos for condition details.
Disc: Good gloss both sides with no delamination or groove wear that I could notice . No warping or cracks. No noticeable scratches to grooves either side; a few faint scuffs.  Some very faint scratches along rim. One ¼” L x 1/8” W x 1/8” D rim edge chip on Side R.  One tiny delamination bubble to record rim Side R, approx. ¼” wide with fleabite chip.
Labels: Paper labels clean both sides with no tears.  Spindle wear to paper both sides, more pronounced on Side R.  Well-attached on Side R; generally well-attached on Side L with 2” long light loose label lift.

Golden Gate Orquestra: “The Golden Gate Orchestra was a recording pseudonym for the California Ramblers.  A mis-named band, most of the personnel were from Ohio.  The California Ramblers, were one of the hottest dance bands of the 1920s and consistently turned out records of the highest musical quality.  They were is such demand that many labels wanted to record them, and so the Ramblers recorded under many different names including 'The Goofus Five', 'The Five Birmingham Babies', 'The University Six', 'Varsity Eight' and ‘The Golden Gate Orquestra’”….”The California Ramblers recorded hundreds of songs under many different record labels throughout the 1920s.  Three of the band members, Red Nichols, Jimmy Dorsey, and Tommy Dorsey, would go on to front big bands in later decades.” (sources:  youtube, Wikipedia)

Shipping: Disc will be carefully packed for safe shipping sandwiched between protective corrugated cardboard fillers, and shipped in a large box filled with packing peanuts to cushion item and prevent movement.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Contact me for a shipping quote before bidding/paying because due to some late international shipments sent First Class I recommend shipping all international sales by Priority International unless requested otherwise, so that packages can be tracked for delivery.  Whenever possible international shipments will be sent Flat Rate Priority to save on shipping charges.  If you request economy First Class International for small packages please be aware that delivery time for 1st Class International shipments can vary from 3-4 days to up to up to 4-5 weeks, and that First Class International packages cannot be tracked if a package is late or lost.  Due to size, some items cannot be sent First Class International.
