Northern Soul: OTIS REDDING "Stax Tour Poster" HIT THE ROAD - STAX TOUR : Early Northern Soul Tour Poster of the mid-1960's, 1966 as I can recall, or about that time anyway, when Stax was king and everyone was going crazy about a "new" guy called Otis Redding!!!, his influences were Sam Cooke and Little Richard!!!!..What a mixture and Otis was then the ultimate Soul singer and was and still is a legendary soul singer, his songs and his style have become immortal. Just look at the line up here!! Otis, Sam & Dave,Eddie Floyd,Arthur Conley and the backing band, none other but Booker T and the MG's, and you could see the whole performance for less than a £1.!! As far as soul posters go, this is one of the very best, one not to be missed!!
