DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - 1st self titled LP. Early Uk pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, big swirl labels and Vertigo Swirl inner bag dated 0470. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO6 847 903 VTY YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen. It has some light hairlines and a couple of surface lines. Played majority of this on my budget deck today. I will play the rest when i get soe time and update the listing. Sits flat on the turntable. There are some ticks in the first minute of "Black Sabbath".  After this the rest of the record sounds Very Good and sometimes better. Music is clean and loud with occasional ticks.  There is only a very occasional trace of background sound between some tracks. Cover is in decent shape. It is firm and square and has moderate edgewear, moderate to heavy cornerwear and light creasing. It has a couple of pin punctures to top edge of sleeve.  Clean Vertigo swirl labels.  Vertigo swirl inner is clean and complete with not much more than light wear and poly still intact. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
