The music on records made using Classic Quiex SV is more detailed, has richer harmonics and a more precise soundstage presentation Quiex SV is used exclusively and will have a sticker that identifies them as such....

This Heavy Vinyl LP has been critically acclaimed as the finest and quietest ever produced. It is a new listening experience that will virtually make you feel as if you were in the studio with the band. The nicest thing you can do for your stylus and ears. So, sit back, relax, enjoy the music, and remember the sound.

If you want raw, electrifying, frightful, unruly, mesmerizing, aggressive, urgent, and occasionally brilliant sound, listen to Jimi Hendrix’s Monday morning Woodstock finale. Most of the masses had gone home, Jimi was nervous, his band unrehearsed in August of 1969. His band, which he dubbed Gypsy Sun and Rainbows for this performance, was in a period of transition between the heavy psychedelic bluesy Experience and the more soulful, rhythmically dynamic Band of Gypsies. Hendrix seems to touch on every musical style -- from jazz to blues to funk to soul to metal, and even a few that weren’t christened yet (fusion, punk). There is no more historic or more explosive a performance than LIVE AT WOODSTOCK..

By the time Hendrix and his band took the stage Monday morning at 9 a.m., hundreds of thousands had already escaped the rain, mud and chaos. But 25,000 dedicated souls remained to celebrate the performance of the most visionary force in rock, Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix and His Band - which included drummer Mitch Mitchell and Bassist Billy Cox - rocked highlights from the recently disbanded Experience (like never-before-released performance of "Foxey Lady" and "Hey Joe"), and previewed the blues/funk variations to come with the Band of Gypsys ("Izabella," "Hear My Train A Comin'"). The set was an expression of Hendrix' range and vitality - masterful, unpredictable, and intoxicating. The prior three days had witnessed electrifying landmark sets by Sly & The Family Stone, The Who, and Ten Years After, as well as the national debuts of Santana, Joe Cocker, and Crosby, Stills & Nash. But it was Jimi who had the last word. And he rose to the challenge that morning of August 18, 1969 with a set that's remembered as the crowned jewel of the festival that defined the decade in music.

Rainbow Bridge is an album by American musician Jimi Hendrix. It was the second posthumous album release by his official record company and is mostly composed of recordings Hendrix made in 1969 and 1970 after the breakup of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Despite the cover photo and subtitle Original Motion Picture Sound Track, it does not contain any songs recorded during his concert appearance for the 1971 film Rainbow Bridge.

Continuing in the vein of The Cry of Love, the first official posthumous Hendrix album, Rainbow Bridge explores new guitar styles and textures. All the songs, except for a solo studio version of "The Star Spangled Banner," are written by Hendrix and mostly performed with Mitch Mitchell on drums and Billy Cox on bass.

The songs on Rainbow Bridge represent material in various stages of development and were never finalized or approved for release by Hendrix. Four of the songs on the album, along with the ten songs from The Cry of Love and three from War Heroes, were planned for Hendrix's followup album to the live Band of Gypsys, released in March 1970. Rainbow Bridge contains both studio and live music featuring "Star Spangled Banner" at the Record Plant in New York in March of 1969 and "Hear My Train a Comin'" recorded live at Berkeley Community Theatre.

WINTERLAND Eight LP Deluxe Box Set -  COLLECTORS  NUMBERED 7801

Six 1968 Concerts from San Francisco's Historic Venue Reshaped Rock and Roll: Here Are the Highlights

Includes 36-page Book and Rare Backstage Interview With Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix's Woodstock performance may be his most famous, but the guitarist named by Rolling Stone as the best in history was never better than at a three-night stand in San Francisco, putting on a total of six concerts that fans have long clamored to here. Featuring the crème de la crème of said performances, now everyone finally gets their wish.

Winterland is drawn from six stellar shows in October 1968 at San Francisco's historic Winterland Ballroom. These special performances celebrated the two-year anniversary of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and came just as the groundbreaking album Electric Ladyland was released. Even given the era's rich history, you'll be hard-pressed to come up with any concert that rivals what's here.

As many already know, Winterland presents some of Hendrix's most spectacular guitar work. This scintillating set is filled with rare live versions of classic songs such as "Manic Depression," "Are You Experienced?," "Tax Free" and "Little Wing" that are not part of any other Sony Legacy releases. Fans will also enjoy Hendrix's dramatic interpretations of Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love" and Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" (with the Experience joined by Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady) as well as his rendition of Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone," which many critics and fans regard as the ultimate interpretation.

Pressed on eight 180-gram LPs, this special deluxe box set features never-before-released music from each of the six unforgettable Winterland performances. Please note that Winterland is now markedly different from the flawed single disc compilation, long out of print, briefly issued by Rykodisc in 1987 and 1988. Moreover, Winterland also presents a rare interview with Hendrix recorded backstage at the Boston Garden a few weeks after the Winterland performances. This previously unreleased bonus provides fans with a unique window into Hendrix's views about his background, his approach to the guitar and songwriting and future direction of his music.

JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE MIAMI POP FESTIVAL NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION 200 GRAM 2LP SET

Numbered, Limited Edition 200g Vinyl Double LP! First Time Ever On Double LP!
Pressed at Quality Record Pressings! All Analogue Mastering By Bernie Grundman!

The first-ever release of one of the guitar virtuoso's most sought-after performances, as originally recorded on site by Hendrix's long term sound engineer, Eddie Kramer. Never available in any form, Miami Pop Festival is being released as a limited edition double 12" audiophile vinyl set (all analog cut by Bernie Grundman, pressed at QRP on 200 gram vinyl).

Jimi Hendrix Experience: Miami Pop Festival introduces the first recorded stage performances of "Hear My Train A Comin'" and "Tax Free" while showcasing definitive live takes on such classics as "Fire," "Hey Joe," "I Don't Live Today" and "Purple Haze." The package includes never before published photos taken at the festival and an essay by award-winning music journalist and Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli.

The first ever major rock festival staged on the East Coast, the May 1968 Miami Pop Festival was the first event promoted by Michael Lang — who would organize Woodstock, the biggest pop culture event of the decade, fifteen months later — and Ric O'Barry, who had been the dolphin trainer for the popular television program Flipper. Lang and O'Barry had been inspired by the June 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, the groundbreaking gathering where Jimi Hendrix, making his US debut, famously set fire to his guitar at the conclusion of his performance. Lang staged the festival at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida, securing the Jimi Hendrix Experience as the headline act for the two-day festival.

RADIO TYMES - VARIOUS ARTIST WITH A RARE JIMI HENDRIX LIVE TRACK APART OF THE COLLECTION -

Sourced from proficiently recorded reel to reel tapes and BBC transcription discs, RADIO TYMES presents very rare and desirable recordings from some of the 1960s major players, and indeed some groups who would find wider acclaim during the following decade. RADIO TYMES rewinds back to the early days of Deep Purple with the discovery of the band's first live performance ever broadcast on British radio in mid-1968, as well as an incendiary number from the last session by the original lineup. Superb recordings from The Yardbirds’ final BBC session in 1968, including the legendary "Dazed And Confused," finally appear in excellent quality, and unbelievably a recording of Jimi Hendrix singing live on Simon Dee’s "Dee Time TV" program has surfaced that has not been heard anywhere since 1967.

All the music has been professionally restored, with the Deep Purple tunes having been worked on at Abbey Road Studios no less, and the results of restoring music from old reel to reel tapes in particular is startling to say the least. Radio Tymes is a legitimate collection licensed from the BBC and the relevant record companies; the LP also comes with a 16-page booklet.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience Freedom: Atlanta Pop Festival 200 GRAM LIMITED EDITION NUMBERED 1ST PRESSING 2LP SET

200g Vinyl Double LP! Mastered by Bernie Grundman!
Pressed at Quality Record Pressings! Includes Booklet with Photos and Liner Notes!

Freedom: Atlanta Pop Festival is a posthumous live album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, documenting their July 4, 1970 performance at the Atlanta International Pop Festival. It features sixteen songs recorded during their evening performance. The album is scheduled for release on August 28, 2015, in conjunction with the Jimi Hendrix video documentary, Jimi Hendrix: Electric Church.

About 100 miles south of Atlanta, next to a field just outside the town of Byron, there stands a plaque erected by the Georgia Historical Society marking the location of the Second Atlanta International Pop Festival, where from July 3-5, 1970, “Over thirty musical acts performed, including rock icon Jimi Hendrix playing to the largest American audience of this career.” Despite the overwhelming attendance (estimated to be 300,000-400,000), the festival and Hendrix’s performance in particular, has not received its due in terms of historic importance and impact until now.

Standout performances include such Hendrix classics as “Hey Joe,” “Voodoo Child (Slight Return),” “Purple Haze,” as well as confident, compelling versions of songs such as “Room Full Of Mirrors,” “Freedom,” and “Straight Ahead” that had not yet been issued by Jimi on an Experience album, but were intended to be part of the album he was working on that summer.
