Up for auction is a copy of Beach Girl b/w Gypsy by The Nodaens, released circa 1964 on Gold, cat no G 1001. This is a promo copy (I am unsure if stock copies were ever pressed; I’ve certainly never seen one). Mastermind behind the Nodaens was one Dave Nowlen, former member of Brian Wilson/Beach Boys side project The Survivors. This one-off single is an uncredited Brian Wilson co-production/co-write. Rare as hen’s teeth.

Condition: clearly had considerable play, with a good amount of wear & marking on both sides, but still plays through with minor clicks & pops, but plenty of detail. Some wear on labels also, but no writing, tears, bb holes etc. G+ all round.

My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
