DESCRIPTION: The Velvet Underground- VUBOX1. . Original 1ST UK pressing COMPLETE with booklet, 5 X VU vinyl LPs in correct inners and sleeves in stickered box. . Packed this weighs over 1600gm. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Polydor VUBOX1.  YEAR OF RELEASE: 1986: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYLS/COVERS/BOX).NM/EX+/G+.  The 4 VU LPs in full sleeves  are all super clean with a deep dark sheen. All appear unplayed or lightly played.  The previously unreleased "Another View" which comes in a die-cut sleeve only is EX/EX with some light foxing to labels. Played passages of all discs  on my budget deck. All sit perfectly flat on the turntable and play pretty much immaculately. Music is clear, clean and loud.  Sleeves are all in top shape with minimal wear. VU comes with an immaculate insert. Booklet is also NM, faultless.  The actual box has moderate foxing like many copies these days but is in very solid shape, no tears or splits to edges or corners. .  No writing, rips,  stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticibly deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
