The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends Vinyl -  DOUBLE LP SET + CD

Album CD included

As one album reviewer put it, The Flaming Lips have never backed away from a good collaboration (2009's The Flaming Lips Doing Dark Side Of The Moon). This new album is 13 songs by the Flaming Lips in conjunction with a Who's Who list of some of the best-known names in contemporary, pop and alt-rock. Some strange pairings? Naturally. Who wouldn't scratch their heads at the prospect of The Flaming Lips and Ke$ha? Or The Flaming Lips and Erykah Badu?

"...the Lips brought a lot of these hard to find team-ups, as well as a host of new collaborations, to the masses with the 2012 release of The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends. Originally released for Record Store Day 2012, the spaced-out compilation has allowed people the opportunity to experience previously hard-to-own tracks such as 'Is David Bowie Dying,' 'Supermoon Made Me Want to Pee,' and 'I'm Working at NASA on Acid?,' which feature Neon Indian, Prefuse 73, and Lightning Bolt, respectively. The compilation also finds the Lips working with a host of guests that runs from the expected (Tame Impala, Plastic Ono Band) to the downright strange (Biz Markie, Ke$ha). The high point of the album is the cover of the iconic 'First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,' which finds the band working with Erykah Badu to transform the song into a haunting and glacial, 10-minute shoegaze epic. The stunning cover is the most beautiful and cohesive on what is an otherwise (understandably) uneven collection." — All Music Guide

Side 1 2012 (featuring Ke$ha and Biz Markie) Ashes in the Air (featuring Bon Iver) Helping the Retarded to Find God (featuring Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros)
Side 2 The Supermoon Made Me Want to Pee (featuring Prefuse 73) Children of the Moon (featuring Tame Impala) That Ain’t My Trip (featuring Jim James of My Morning Jacket) You, Man? Human??? (featuring Nick Cave)

The Flaming Lips Transmissions From The Satellite Heart LP

"With Transmissions From the Satellite Heart, the Flaming Lips join the ranks of rock & roll's most endearing eccentrics." - Rolling Stone

Transmissions from the Satellite Heart is The Flaming Lips' sixth album, released in 1993. Its fourth track, "She Don't Use Jelly", is notable for being The Flaming Lips' first charting radio hit, after its video was featured on the MTV show Beavis and Butt-Head, nearly a year after the album's release.

"Turn It On" was also a moderately-successful single, and also had two different music videos, one of which was shot at a laundrymat. The album marked the departure of Jonathan Donahue (to Mercury Rev) and Nathan Roberts, and the addition of guitarist Ronald Jones and drummer Steven Drozd.

The Flaming Lips Hit To Death In The Future Head LIMITED EDITION LP
Remastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering!

Hit to Death in the Future Head is The Flaming Lips' fifth album and their debut album on Warner Bros. Records released on August 5, 1992.

Recorded in 1991 by the same lineup that had featured on In a Priest Driven Ambulance, the album's release was delayed for nearly a year due to the use of a sample from Michael Kamen's score for the film Brazil in the track "You Have to Be Joking (Autopsy of the Devil's Brain)", which required a lengthy clearance process. During the intervening period, both Nathan Roberts and Jonathan Donahue left the band (the latter resuming his duties in Mercury Rev). By the time of the album's release both Steven Drozd and Ronald Jones had joined, and performed on the subsequent tour.

The Flaming Lips and Fwends With a Little Help from My Fwends LP (Transparent Orange Vinyl)
Transparent Orange Vinyl LP!

The Flaming Lips Remake the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" Album - with a Little Help from Some 'Friends'!

With a Little Help from My Fwends is the fourteenth studio album by the American rock band The Flaming Lips. It is a track-for-track tribute to The Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was released on October 27, 2014 through Warner Bros. Records. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Bella Foundation, an organization in Oklahoma City that helps provide veterinary care to needy pet owners.

With a Little Help from My Fwends features songs from The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band covered by The Flaming Lips who have brought some friends along for the ride. Guest artists include Miley Cyrus, Moby, Electric Wurms, Grace Potter, Tegan & Sara, My Morning Jacket, and more!

The Flaming Lips' have previously covered the Stone Roses' debut album as well as In The Court of The Crimson King by King Crimson.

"...the Lips, along with an army of guests, artfully transform the album from an intricate pop masterpiece to a fractured, acid-fried freakout. With its skittish and fuzzed-out production and tendency to shift direction on a whim, the album feels as though it's trying to re-create the feeling of hearing an album like Sgt. Pepper's for the first time in 1967, re-creating that feeling that absolutely anything could happen at any moment." -Gregory Heaney, allmusic

The Flaming Lips Imagene Peise - Atlas Eets Christmas limited edition LP
The Flaming Lips Sing Winter Wonderland!!

Atlas Eets Christmas was previously released in a very limited physical quantity on CD only under the pseudonym Imagene Peise (with a sticker that read "Love Is The Answer - Merry Christmas From The Flaming Lips 2007"). The pseudonym Imagene Peise is a John Lennon-esque spelling of "Imagine Peace," ala Lennon’s wonsaponatime, and likewise the album title sounds-out "At last, it's Christmas." The alias credits are similarly punning: Imagene Peise - Piano Ominog Bangh - Laughing/Crying Glider Synthesizer Shineyu Bhupal - Drones, Sitar, and Baritone Tambura

Melodically, their sound contains lush, multi-layered, psychedelic rock arrangements, but lyrically their compositions show elements of space rock, including unusual song and album titles—such as "Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus with Needles", "Free Radicals (A Hallucination of the Christmas Skeleton Pleading with a Suicide Bomber)" and "Yeah, I Know It's a Drag... But Wastin' Pigs Is Still Radical". They are also acclaimed for their elaborate live shows, which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex stage light configurations, giant hands, large amounts of confetti, and frontman Wayne Coyne's signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traverses the audience.

Features:
• Vinyl LP

Selections:
Side A

1. Winter Wonderland
2. Silver Bells
3. Christmas Laughing Waltz (including Jingle Bells)
