Here I have a copy of one of the very first pressings of the Wall By Pink Floyd to come off the production line. Because this was expected to be a very large seller, they had 13 first pressings all with different matrix numbers, of which this is the lowest number, therefore one of the first to come off the production line.

The cover is off white (cream in colour) with a faint purple colour outlining the bricks, the bricks are not aligned at the bottom of the front. There is no bar-code on the rear, later pressings all have bar-codes.

Comes complete with the original cellophane sticker, 'Pink Floyd The Wall' however like all first pressings this does not stick to the front and is now loose, all re-issues have the sticker glued firmly to the cover.

These are the lowest matrix numbers ever, as far as I'm aware there are no copies available with them any lower.

Please take a look at my site for other great and rare record.

UK Pressing

Harvest Records: SHVL 411

Matrix: A-2U  B-2U A-1U B-2U

Vinyl is in 'near mint' condition, very rarely do you find these in such good condition, I would say at a guess that it has maybe had the one or at the absolute most two plays, only the very slightest signs of a spindle mark, and a couple of very, very faint marks on the vinyl, at a guess this has happened when the vinyl has been removed from the hard card inner sleeves, (I have put them into soft cellophane inner sleeves) truly wonderful condition considering its age.

Gatefold sleeve is in 'excellent/near mint' condition, only some very minimal signs of actual use.

In summary, probably very difficult to find a first pressing copy as good as this

Please E-Mail me through Ebay if you require any more info on this item.

Please note: I require payment within 7 days,(unless you let me know) otherwise I will re-list the item.

Foreign buyers please note, that if an item fails to arrive, you must give it 3 to 4 weeks, as it can take an age to get to some country's. Also if an item fails to arrive after this length of time, then I will give a full refund for the cost of the item, but 'I WILL NOT PAY THE POSTAGE' as this is not my fault. Please be aware of this before you bid. (Unfortunatley for the good buyers, I have had to many things mysteriously going missing !!!) This does not affect British and Irish customers. Thank You

In the unlikley event you have a problem with your purchase, please contact me first, before you leave feedback, I 'WILL' sort it out for you.

I try to be as accurate as possible with my grading of the records, based on the guide in the Record Collector magazine, but occasionally peoples perception of a record are very different. In this case if the record is far removed from the discription I put, then I will give a full refund.

In other words if I haven't put 'Mint' or 'Excellent' then it isn't.!!!

Grading:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deteriation in sound quality, despite slight surface marks andthe occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor/Bad : Forget it!!!!!

Happy Bidding,

Bryan
