DESCRIPTION:  Asterix - 1st self titled LP.  1ST German press in laminated sleeve. Sample/promo copy with sample sticker to one label. More interesting, unusual and rare Prog/Kraut/Kosmische to come in next few weeks. Postage cost includes box/cruciform mailer, insurance and tracking.: LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER:  Decca SLK  16 695-P: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Germany: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen. Tilted to light there are a few very light brushing lines visible.  Played all of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds really clean, loud  and clear. Cover is in nice clean shape.. It is firm and square and has minimal edge wear, minimal corner wear and light creasing.  It has a couple of areas of laminate lift and  peel adjacent to opening edge.  Really clean labels- just check out the photos. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
