** Rare 1967 UK Parlophone VERY FIRST PRESSING (-1/-1) in STEREO with original CUT OUTS CARD **

Record:

A Very Good condition disc. "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." text on the rims of both labels. "Sold in UK" text on both labels. KT tax code stamped into the label of Side 1. There is a slight warp, which can clearly be seen with the disc turned edgeways, but this does not in any way affect the way the record plays. I have tested this on two Thorens decks and a Dual deck, and none had any problem playing the record normally. Other than for this, the disc would have been graded Ex-. There are some light surface marks - most of which are original pressing imperfections, which have been there since new - and there are some other light surface marks here and there too - mainly very fine hairline marks that can be seen under a strong light.. Very few centre spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, sticking, deep scratches, or writing on labels. Very good clean labels on both sides. Very good sound quality in general. Some occasional minor general surface noise - mainly in the quiet bits between tracks. This remains a very listenable LP (including the never-ending voices at the end of Side 2..) Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve:

Fully-laminated gatefold sleeve, with flipbacks to top of the inside of the sleeve, in Very Good+ condition, with some general wear - particularly to the corners, opening edge, and spine. No writing anywhere. No major creasing. A 3cm split to the middle of the rear section of the gatefold sleeve, otherwise no other seam splits. Some creasing to spine, but text still visible.

Cut Outs Card:

Cut Outs Card in Excellent condition, with no tears, rips, creases or writing. Some minor age-related discolouration  in places.

Supplied in plain white inner sleeve. The original red inner sleeve is NOT INCLUDED.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
