DESCRIPTION: Rainbow- Long Live Rock N Roll. 1st UK pressing with textured gatefold sleeve, matrix ending A/2 B/2 (with Lyre stamp), correct original white inner and lyric insert in nearly new condition.   I have more Rainbow, Pink Floyd etc 70s/80s LPs in immaculate condition, the vinyls are the cleanest I have seen. The Rainbow LPs are not particularly rare but it is rare to come across them in this condition. Most played only once or twice to put onto tape then stored correctly for many years.  Postage cost includes tracking and a box mailer.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Polydor DELUXE POLD 5002: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1978. COUNTRY OF RELEASE:  UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): NM/EX+: Vinyl is immaculately clean with a deep dark sheen. Little sign that this has been played at all. Played passages of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Plays immaculately, really clean. Music is clean, loud and clear.  Cover is in great shape, one of the best I have seen.  It is firm and square with negligible edge wear,  negligible corner wear and negligible creasing.  Immaculately clean inside of gatefold.  Fantastic shape to fully ledgible spine which has some lightening. Insert is better than EX, no foxing, minimal wear with just one crease down one edge where it has lain in the gatefold sleeve.  White inner is also better than EX with minimal wear and no splits.  Immaculately clean labels- check out the photos.  No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
