We can think of only a handful of other "Never Previously Released"-type albums in the history of Rock that lived to their expectations (Jefferson Airplane's "Early Flight" and Stevie Ray Vaughan's "The sky is crying" come to mind). This, the WHO's 1973 album, and John Entwistle's pet project - is one such case in point. Culled from the never before released 1964 - 1972 session tracks, demos, alternate takes and alike, the album is much, much preferred alternative to (almost) anything WHO recorded in 1970's, or - for that matter - ever since (Who's next notwithstanding). Track listing:Postcard - Now I am a farmer - Put the money down - Little Billy - Too much of anything - Glow Girl - Pure and Easy - Faith in something bigger - I'm the face - Naked Eye - Long live rock. Plus, you get here a rare die-cut cover, which was eliminated on all subsequent reissues and replaced with a (surprise, surprise) cheap-looking cover. Not to be missed.

(b)          The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve (we can see it through the cutout corner).

 

(c)           The album is  believed to come with its original poster included .

 

(d)            The record is  apparently pressed on a RELATIVELY  thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type),  vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl, either.

 

(e)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
