Stunning example of this super rare first press with a vinyl that one can only dream of. It has to be the very best in existence today! Certainly an album suitable for investment.

Egg marry abstract Canterbury jazz, ELP , Caravan style symphonic workouts and absurd avant-gardisms and the results are masterful. My favourites have to be "I Will Be Absorbed", the musical equivalent of a madman taking a sunny-day run through the fields, and the surreal singalong "While Growing My Hair". "Blane", part of the mind blowing yet unimaginatively named "Symphony No. 2" suite, is basically noise music and is great example of how radical prog could be. Also keep an ear out for Dave Stewart (not the guy from the  Eurythmics as some people seem to think) and his entertaining keyboard theatrics which, in the last track particularly, steal the show. Prog doesn't get much better than this, and if it weren't for this album I probably wouldn't listen to the genre as much as I do today. (from: rateyourmusic.com)

Vinyl: NM.  I'm very happy to be able to present this Canterbury gem by the legendary EGG  in this wonderful barely played (possibly even unplayed) condition. The deep gloss and sheen without any wear would suggest it was just bought in a record shop. The audio is simply sublime played on my Technics deck with Linn Sondek cartridge and through my Rotel amp and B&W speakers.  This vinyl sounds out of this world, a majestic album that showed that really went largely under the radar. Why ...? 

 Unbelievably it has no hairlines, no marks, no retraction traces  and the audio is simply stunning.  I played this through in full and thoroughly enjoyed it, indeed my most intensive listen for this week.. I was even tempted to keep this as it will be very hard to find this again, it is indeed mega rare now in this kind of condition. This vinyl is truly investment grade and needs no upgrading. Needless to say NO jumps, clicks or ticks. 

 Sleeve: VG++ to EX.  Fantastic looked after front laminated sleeve with beautiful rich colours and with just some minor creasing along the opening edge and corners.  It sits superbly flat and has a sharp crisp opening. Beautiful sharp edges, the spine is fully legible.  A beautiful original sleeve and a great condition.The winner will be very pleased indeed!! No marks, no seam splits or tears.  Please see the pictures. This will be an upgrade for most psych and prog collectors.
