The next album in line after the awesome "Nantucket Sleighride" that we have here is "Flowers of Evil". It has both a studio side and a live side, which wasn't that uncommon to do back then. I believe however that the studio side is more solid and much stronger than the live side. In fact, most of the songs are almost to the same level as the best songs on "nantucket sleighride".  For example, "one last cold kiss" is this album's "Nantucket Sleighride", basically. It's a beautiful song with a fascinating story about the love between two swans as one is dying and the other wants to remain by it's side until the bitter end. My favorite from this album, definitely. The problems with the live side have mostly to due with the sound quality and rambling on of it all (if that makes any sense, i hope). Despite the inconsistency of the live side, this is still a great album. Leslie west's guitar playing saves the day again!

(b)            The record is  apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

 

(c)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER IS STILL SEALED; HOWEVER, WE ARE UNABLE TO GRADE IT MINT OR NEAR MINT DUE TO MINOR FLAWS LISTED BELOW; WE GRADE THIS COVER AS EXCELLENT OR VG++

 

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

 

-        Cover has a slight 2" wide warp along the bottom seam ; this will have absolutely no effect on the record.

 

-         Cover has two corners slightly worn / dinged

 

-         Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the spine  (VISIBLE ON BACK SIDE ONLY)

 

-         Minor shelf wear noted on the bottom seam (nothing significant)
