Some sellers have passed of vinyls with -5K and -7K as first presses ....

So, so hard to find, the Stones all time classic psychedelic album and here it is where it all came together from start to finish to challenge the likes of Sgt. Pepper, Pet Sounds and all. Although not taken up in huge numbers at the time, the album has gained a tremendous reputation as a psych masterpiece in recent times. This copy has the original first press 3D gatefold cover and the unboxed Decca labels.

SO HARD TO FIND THIS ALBUM IN THIS FANTASTIC CONDITION AND WITH THE RED INNER SLEEVE. THE VINYL IS GENERALLY NICE WITH JUST A SCUFF MARK ON SIDE 1.

Disc weight: 148g

Complete with its original red & white 'smoke' design lined inner-sleeve which is in nice shape but has the inevitable seam splits.

Vinyl: VG+.  Graded such just for the scuff on side 1 which produces a few low level clicks just on the first track. This vinyl would have graded EX to EX+ otherwise. I have played this through in its entirety and it sounded fantastic from beginning to end with nothing untoward. There is hardly ever any background noise. This is a great testament to the super heavy quality of this first press vinyl with its very deep grooves. These vinyls were built to last quality. The audio is rich and the stereo separation second to none. There are NO skips or jumps. There is barely any crackle at all.  Played on my Technics turntable with a Linn Sondek cartridge, Rotel amp and B&W speakers.

 Gatefold Sleeve: EX. A beautiful Robert Stace gatefold sleeve with the pasted on 3D band picture which changes image depending which angle you're looking from. The sleeve is in  a well preserved condition without damage and only very minimal storage wear. Otherwise this still retains its original rich colours and sharp edges. The spine is 100%. The opening is still crisp. There are no creases and the lamination is just splendid!! 

The original inner red sleeve is still there. A artefact that is very often gone missing these days. It has three small seam splits and a few creases. I will send the vinyl out in a separate white sleeve so the red inner will not get damaged in transit.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
